Description

UCIBIO members in collaboration with LIP, will instruct a hand-on course tailored for researchers that are interested in starting High Performance Computing projects. The course will cover the following modules:

 

OPTIONAL Module 0:
Introduction to HPC (Feb 5, 10:00 - 12:00)
(required module for the users who don't have any knoledge about HPC)

Online hand-on tutorial on which users will learn how to use the INCD HPC cluster. 

 

Module 1 (OMICS):

High-throughput Sequencing Data (Feb 6, 09:00 – 12:30)

Transcriptome Assembly (Feb 6, 14:00 – 17:30)

Phylogenomics (Feb 7, 09:00 – 12:30)

 

 

Module 2 (Molecular Modeling)

Structure-based Virtual Screening (Feb 7, 14:00 – 17:30)

Molecular Dynamics (Feb 8, 09:00 – 12:30)

Hybrid Quantum Mechanics/Molecular Mechanics (Feb 8, 14:00 – 17:30)
